3. All species of mosquitoes migrates in short low flights irrespective of wind.
4. Mosquito whine (sound); the high pitched mosquito sound which we hear at our bad time comes from the vibrating wings or produced by the legs rubbed against the wings.
5. Male mosquitoes have shorter life span than female mosquito. Male can live for 1 week & Female can live for 1 month.
6. Opening of new colonies, townships, housing & industrial developments bring in new habitat for tilt mosquitoes. Greater use of water for agricultural & industrial development contributes to greater nuisance from mosquitoes.

Mosquitoes can be controlled in the following ways
1. Destruction of larvae (Anti larval treatment)
2. Destruction of adult mosquitoes (Adulticidal treatment)
3. Fogging treatment
Through fogging service at periphery of the main building during evening dusk hours in order to avert the mosquito population.Spraying of mosquito larvicide's / target specific insecticide on infested stagnant water bodies such as puddle, pith of tyre filled with water, septic tanks, drainages, nalas, collected rain water etc.
Spraying of residual insecticide will be done on the resting places of mosquitoes such as outer wall of the built up structure (Approximate 2-meter band on the wall & floor from the external perimeter wall & floor junction), surrounding herbs (Bushy vegetation), etc.
For external surrounding of the structure within compound area, this treatment will be executed during the dusk hours on weekly basis throughout the year to kill adult mosquitoes in the vicinity of the premises.
